, yes its easy.

-Start-Run-> Type Regedit->hit ENTER
-Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Colors
-Make sure the following setting are there:
ButtonHilight=128 128 128,ButtonShadow=255 255 255
